Lytta

Lytta™ for Android & iOS

Practice the hard conversations before they happen.

Someone you love says: “Feels like we haven't actually talked in days. Are we good?” What you say next matters. Lytta is a place to practice saying it — before it counts.

A Cool Down practice session in Lytta: the partner is upset about a private matter shared at dinner; the reply takes ownership and is scored 80 with feedback.

How it works

Two minutes. A realistic moment. Your own words, graded on the skills that actually hold relationships together.

Step 1

A moment opens

An AI partner starts a believable everyday scene: a rough day at work, a small sigh over dinner, a disappointment that actually stings.

An Everyday feelings scene: the partner asks whether they will mess up tomorrow's meeting.

Step 2

You reply as yourself

Every reply gets a score and specific feedback: did you acknowledge the feeling, did you turn toward the bid, did you jump to fixing before the feeling was heard?

A grade card: score 80, skills Reflected and turned toward, what worked, what to work on, and a stronger version of the reply.

Step 3

The mood moves

The partner reacts believably: warm replies soften the mood, dismissive ones escalate it. You watch the temperature change with every message, and see a stronger version of what you could have said.

So, they announced it today. Jonas is leading the project. Which is fine, I mean, he's been there longer. It's fine.
Well, to be fair, he HAS been there two years longer. It probably wasn't about you.
31/100  ·  Fact-checked the feeling · Turned away from the bid
» “It's fine” said twice is never fine. They didn't need a ruling — they needed you to hear the hurt.

Practice, not therapy. Lytta is a skills gym — not therapy, counselling or crisis support. It doesn't diagnose or advise about your real relationship. If a session touches something heavy, Lytta stops grading and points to real resources instead. If you're in crisis, please reach a real human: findahelpline.com.

The skills you practice — noticing bids, validating feelings before solving problems, de-escalating without giving up your point — are drawn from established relationship communication research, including the six levels of validation from Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The reps are yours.

Two minutes a day. Real moments. Better conversations.
